Non-members and outside organizations are welcome to rent our banquet hall for a variety of events. Rental fees vary by event type. Please contact us for current rates and availability.

Rental Rates

• Wedding/Reception: $500 + $100 refundable deposit + $50 cleaning fee
• All other events: Contact us for rates — fees vary by event type and membership status

Reserving the Hall

When you contact us to request a date, we will tentatively add you to the calendar. To hold your date, a $50 deposit is required. If full payment cannot be made immediately, the deposit secures your spot while the balance remains due. Full payment must be received prior to your event date unless other arrangements have been made with the Commander, Senior Vice Commander or Quartermaster.

Cleaning Deposit

A $50 cleaning deposit is required. It will be refunded if the hall is left clean and tables and chairs are returned to their designated locations in a satisfactory manner. No partial refunds.

Kitchen Access

Kitchen access is included with all rentals, along with tables and chairs. You may use the kitchen or bring your own caterer. Renters must provide their own rags, towels, dish soap, and cooking supplies. One refrigerator is available. If you need to use the stove/oven, please notify us in advance so we can turn on the gas and light the pilot.

Alcoholic Beverages

Renters are currently permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the premises. Selling alcohol on the premises is strictly prohibited under any circumstances. We are happy to guide you through options for your event.

Hall Decorating Rules

• No Post decorations or displays may be removed unless specifically authorized
• No pushpins, tacks, nails, tape, or staples on the North walls
• Hooks on ceiling light fixtures and pins for light ceiling items are permitted — NO tape on ceilings
• No glitter
• No open flames
• VFW Post #1756 is not responsible for tablecloths or decorations
• Any damage is the responsibility of the renter

Early Decorating Access

If the hall is not booked the day prior to your event, you may have access to decorate early. Please confirm availability when booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the rental date will result in forfeiture of the cleaning deposit. In the unlikely event VFW Post #1756 must cancel, the renter's full payment will be refunded and the agreement will be void.

Limitation of Liability

• VFW Post #1756, its officers, members, and agents assume no liability for injury to patrons, guests, or others on the rental property before, during, or after the rental period. Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless VFW Post #1756 from any claims, damages, or injuries arising during the event.
• Renters shall not conduct or allow any unlawful activities, including public intoxication, underage drinking, illicit drugs, or disorderly conduct. All minors must be accompanied by adults at all times.
• Renters may not advertise their event in a way that implies VFW Post #1756 is sponsoring it.
• Post officers and agents reserve the right to enter the rented premises at any time and to refuse service at any time.

By completing payment through this website, the renter acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to all rules, terms, and conditions outlined above. No separate contract is required. Payment serves as your agreement and acceptance of these terms.
